Maldon Solar Farm will generate clean, green and cheap energy to supply power directly into the local network via underground cables.

At approximately 25 megawatts the solar farm can provide enough energy to power over 8,000 homes.

The solar farm is located approximately 1.1 kilometres to the south-west of Maldon.
